CASBios is a mission-driven biotechnology platform focused on developing innovative, locally manufactured solutions for the molecular biology and diagnostics landscape in Pakistan. We specialize in producing indigenous alternatives to imported PCR kits, with a core emphasis on quality, affordability, and accessibility. Founded by a group of passionate scientists and researchers, CASBios was born out of a simple but powerful idea: to reduce reliance on expensive foreign reagents by building homegrown molecular tools that meet global standards.

Our flagship innovation, Magic PCR Tubes, is a ready-to-use PCR solution designed for both research and diagnostics applications. Each tube comes preloaded with all essential reagents, including our in-house synthesized Taq polymerase, dNTPs, buffer system, and tracking dye—offering consistent performance, streamlined workflow, and minimized contamination risk. By removing the hassle of manual reagent preparation, Magic PCR Tubes empower researchers and lab technicians to focus on what truly matters: their science.

Behind CASBios is a close-knit team of M.Phil. and PhD-level molecular biologists, biochemists, and biotech engineers who have trained at leading institutions and understand the real-world challenges faced by Pakistani labs. Our team blends academic expertise with entrepreneurial vision to build products that not only work, but work better in local lab conditions. Every batch of our enzymes and reagents is thoroughly validated through performance assays, cross-lab testing, and customer feedback, ensuring that our quality remains uncompromised.

Our research and production operations are based in a functional, well-equipped laboratory environment tailored for protein expression, purification, enzymatic testing, and molecular assay development. From cloning and expressing the Taq polymerase gene in E. coli, to optimizing the purification process, to stress-testing the enzyme under various conditions—our entire workflow is handled with precision and care. We’ve validated our product performance across multiple band lengths, subjected it to freeze-thaw and heat tolerance testing, and optimized conditions to ensure maximum stability and reliability. These rigorous standards have helped establish CASBios as a trusted and forward-looking name in molecular biology.

CASBios is proud to be a part of NIC Faisalabad’s Cohort 6, where we’ve had the opportunity to strengthen our business model, expand our network, and bring our innovation to the forefront of Pakistan’s startup ecosystem.
